We've Earned Another Reward!

The class has been working hard to earn positive point tokens!  We earned 262 tokens and will celebrate tomorrow with a G rated movie and stuffed animals.  Students know the stuffies must be able to fit into backpacks!

Also, tomorrow is tie dye tee shirt day!  Wear your new creation!

9/11 Tribute in Lights

Each morning we begin our day watching CNN Student News.  Friday and Monday's segments focused on 9/11 and generated some great discussions.  Last night, I found an amazing picture of the Tribute in Lights.  The photo is interactive and kiddos can show you how it works!  Here's the link!Interactive 9/11 Tribute

We Met Our Goal!

We fed Oscar today!  To celebrate our class achievement we'll have one hour of electronics next Wednesday!  Yippee!

Welcome to My Learning Curve!

Welcome to fifth grade!  As you might have noticed, Malletts Bay School has changed its blogging platform!  I was well trained in the old version - my learning curve for this one will be STEEP!  Thank you for your patience as I try to teach this old dog new tricks!

The first order of business is for you to check out the page 'Home Practice'.  I will make every effort to update this on a daily basis!  Beginning tonight, you'll find your kiddo's home practice listed.
